I am about 6 weeks pregnant I take 500mg pills of vitamin B5 for acne. It is the only thing that has helped my acne. I take 5 pills a day after meals (5 total for the day) Is b5 safe to take. I have read that vitamin b helps with morning sickness, which I haven’t had YET, so how harmful can it be?

Is it because dermatologists say diet doesn’t cause acne because they can’t sell you a healthy diet? Do you think these doctors are under pressure from pharmaceutical companies to sell you a pill, cream, body wash, ect.?

I really believe that diet is heavily influential in the condition of your skin. Hormonal imbalance is the cause of a poor diet. I think it’s time for people to refine their beliefs about acne contrary to what the label of Proactive has to say about the matter.
